Our mission is to help people find God, grow their faith, discover their purpose, and make a difference.

The story of Grace City Church is the story of God doing amazing things to glorify Himself and to push back the darkness. The Lead Pastor at Grace City Church is Pastor Moses Kalanzi who was from a Muslim family. Upon receiving Jesus as Lord, he was disowned by his family and tossed out. He was also a soccer player on the national youth soccer team and that was lost as well.

It was about that time around that the Lord connected him with Pastor Jedidiah and Rosemary as a single young Christian man. Since then they have served as Pastoral Missionaries with regard to the Grace City Church and Abato.org

Abato Foundation Uganda is a children community organization established in 2011 to improve the livelihoods of children and youth in Uganda through through education and nurturing their talents and abilities.  “Abato” means children in luganda, the largest spoken local language.

The foundation was started by young people with a vision to raise a generation of changemakers who will lead in the transformation of our society. The ministry has grown to include a kindergarden and elementary school, as well as Pearl Acres High School. In addition the ministry has vibrant sports programs as well as medical clinics.

You will find Abato campus on the CLI website here: CLI - Abato Campus - Uganda

Moses was inspired to start making bricks and with those bricks he began building the first school building for Abato. Many people and organizations have been huge blessings to this ministry from many nations including the U.S.A., England, South America and other locations. There are over 800 students enrolled each year in the Abato schools where they recieve a Christian based education. Pastor Moses challenged the students to start making bricks in order to build Pearl Acres High School facilities and they did it!

The church began as a calling upon the life of Moses to step into his calling as a Pastor. Teh same process took place with the making of bricks and the building of the church first church building over time. The church has steadily grown but a couple of year back the entire ministry came under spiritual attacks and witches, and people from other religions arrayed themself against the church and the school. Many great challenges arose in the form of spiritual attacks, demonic attacks, outright spiritual warfare ensued because the spiritual powers had an idea of what was coming. Pastor Moses and those under his leadership and discipleship stood firm and ministered against the attacks casting out demons, preaching salvation by Jesus and they overcame by their faith and the word of their testimonies.

What did the forces of darkness know was coming and wanted to defeat? It was #RevivalIsNow and God is in the midst of a huge revival for which a firm foundation has been laid and for which the church has been discipled and young leaders mentored to step into the battle and into the war.

In late 2021 the church and ministry is in plain revival with over 8,000 members between the main campus and community home churches. Miracles are happening, sick are being healed, demons cast out and God is being glorified. Grace City Church, for the glory of God is now the second fastest growing church in all of Uganda.

Many pastors, evangelist and people are traveling in rented buses, and cars to come and to partake of the services, to seek healing, to seek wholeness, to witness the great moves of God and to receive training and discipleship.

A good number of Ugandan churches have been very helpful financially and in prayers with regard to what God is doing and everyone is astounded by what God is doing in Uganda for His glory through His humble and submitted servants.

Many of the community house churches are led by young people between the ages of 17 and 20 and some are leading gatherings in excess of 1,000 members and seekers. Glory to God.

The ministry is now seeking to document the revival in photos, videos, audios and on social media for historical reasons and to ensure that the history is captured and that God gets all of the glory.

Please pray for this campus, it's leadership, the fast growth that will require intense discipleship and continued leadership development. Pray against attacks and strategies of the enemy that the revival march forward unhindered by spiritual forces, political forces or community forces in Jesus name.

Pastor Moses Kalanzi's familiar expression is: "I Am Pointing People To Jesus!"
