About us

Rwenzori Abstinence and Scripture Union Youth Network (RASYN) is a faith-based organization and legally registered (No KCD 2292) to serve orphans and vulnerable children in the districts of Kyenjojo and Kabarole, western Uganda. RASYN was founded with an aim of preaching the gospel to win souls for Christ and also to teach abstinence to youths and children in schools and communities as the best way to control the spread of HIV/AIDS and other STD’s. Another major aim is to support the most vulnerable children and youths with basic needs and develop their talents through sports, music, dance and drama. RASYN also aims at rescuing youths and children from sex slavery, drugs and alcohol. 

The organization has partnered with other local organizations to provide entrepreneurial skills to the youths as a way of fighting unemployment, poverty and early marriages. RASYN owns a soccer academy which has helped both female and male youths to develop their soccer talents. Sport is a tool for empowerment, mobilization and uniting youths. We have girls and boys teams with which we organize regular tournaments across the district. Youths under one love have competed in big tournaments and won different trophies at district and national level. As one Love we also play sports for health, fitness, girls’ empowerment, love sharing, social and physical Impact.

All financial information is encrypted and stored by our banking partner to PCI DSS Level 1 compliant standards. PCI DSS Level 1 compliance is a set of rules stated by credit card companies and audited by an independent third party. It is the highest possible rating one can get in the electronic payment processing industry. Additionally, Tithe.ly forces HTTPS for all transaction services using TLS. CrownLife International via Tithely systems requires donors to provide certain personal data in order to securely process online transactions and to prevent misuse of credit, or debit cards. Generally the more information that the donor provides the more likely the donations are to be approved. Hackers and scammers generally cannot supply detailed information such as home address, phone number, email addresses, etc. For this reason we request that you provide the information needed to process your donations. CrownLife International has no access to full credit or debit card numbers, nor bank accounts as that information is only handled by the transaction processor.
